Iran vs Israel is the long-running conflict that has become an open war. This ongoing war has raised so much tension in the Middle East and is hindering global security. There are so many questions raised about nuclear risks and the security of millions residing there. Here’s what you need to know about the recent developments and what will happen next.

    What has happened so far?

Israel conducted a big attack on Iran’s air forces and defence system. That time was perfect to hit Iran, as it was in its weakest position. The powerful group of Iran’s allies group known as the Axis of Resistance, was not as powerful as it used to be, and thus it led to a dangerous attack.

Above all, Israel took immediate action because it thought Iran was on the verge of developing a nuclear weapons program.

The situation between Iran and Israel has worsened with so much tension and chaos. First Israeli strike on Iran’s nuclear and military sites, more than 200 people have died on the spot in Iran. This has become a very serious matter. Jets like F-35I, F-15I, and F-16, along with bunker-bursting bombs and precision missiles, are some of the advanced weapons that are used by Israel to hit Iran directly.

Iran responded by launching hundreds of ballistic missiles, including advanced long-range and hypersonic types, against Israel as part of what it refers to as “Operation Severe Punishment.”

Has Israel Destroyed Iran’s Nuclear Program?

The idea of launching missiles at Iran was not to destroy their nuclear program, but this implementation was done to delay the progress and slow down the process for at least a year. Talking about the expert’s opinion, they warned that the only way to stop Iran’s nuclear program is to strike its most secure sites like Fordow. Otherwise, Israel will only be able to slow down the process, and if the attacks continue, it may lead to the positive success of the nuclear ambitions and may lead to a massive nuclear breakdown.

    Iran Response

Despite Iran’s brave posturing, its military reaction is behind Israel’s precision raids.  Iran’s air defences have failed to react to Israel’s technology, and missile attacks have been less than successful. Experts warn that Iran might engage in hacking, terrorism, and targeting Jewish and Israeli assets abroad.  Another concern is Iran’s ability to launch attacks against energy facilities in Arab states that support Israel in a way that would cause economic harm.

Risks for Civilians and the Environment

If the continuous use of nuclear things occurs, it may result in the release of harmful radiation that is dangerous for both civilians and the environment. Though there is no such evidence of increased radiation at the sites of Iran, but International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has warned about the danger it may create.

    What’s Next?

Iran and Israel both are stiff and deeply committed to win over each other, but the risk remains dangerous, and everyone hopes for a diplomatic solution before it goes out of control.
